Poem Purpose Would to envision something pure
though unlost to hidden shadows
of rare sapphire
To see portrayed your eyes
sparkle like through haze
Densely unencumbered
Reach out to touch, just touch
drawing back at slightest quiver
Hinting from faint breath
Sweetness undelivered |

James,
Lovely, oh for a poem such as this to deliver, quiver, sparkle, purity and breathless sweetness.
Very nice and something wonderful to pick up the day and carry the thoughts forth!
Reads easily, love the eyes/haze, quiver/deliver, pure/sapphire, 'assonance'.
The complete purpose of a poem is to touch someone with emotion. Consider the mission accomplished!
Ciao,
Dellena

James,
Your poetry makes me smile...seriously. I love your imagery you pen. I love your last stanza, especially "drawing back at the slightest quiver. Hinting from faint breath" You have an extremely talented imagination that shows in your words!!
Always,
