Mandie, I know one well, and know some almosts as well. Your piece, in a metrical manner captured the indices that keep the order for an OC personality. A person I am closely associated with, would fall into the exact description you gave. We have learned to work together; but in overcoming the didactive reasoning of thought. I, on the other hand, have learned to keep things more consistent. Between us two, we have not killed each other yet. A sharp piece.

Hi Mandie, You have nailed the mind of the obsessive complusive person perfectly. You have done and excellet job in writing this and I have read it more than once as it is most compelling. I have come across a few people afflicted with this devastating syndrome. They are helpless and usually lose their jobs as they need to keep going home to check out one thing or the other. Well done! Best wishes, cheyenne

OCD is a true disorder which many people have at different levels. You've certainly given a great take with imagery on how some people are affected by this disorder. It's good Mandy - but I would have added just something at the end - to tie the poem together - (personal opinion) just to make the images and duress this condition takes away from people that have it. BTW, my neighbor claims her dog has it and is on meds for it - it could be true, I'm not sure. Yet, after she told me I sat down in my home wondering if the dog was washing it's paws over and over. (smile) Good write, easy to understand the message - which is a sad reality for too many. blessings, Deni
