Motherly Love

You gave me my first kiss that showed me love “God” placed me in your arms a blessing from “Heaven” above. You shared knowledge and wisdom which taught me how to live. So many of your days spending time with me showing me how to give. You gave me courage, strength and pride were always near when I felt sad and cried. A bond was formed between us that has lasted all these years. Yours was the only voice that chased away my fears. With your love surrounding me day after day the comfort I could depend on let me grow up in a very secure way. You let my spirit soar loved me just for who I am. With “Gods” best intentions it was a beautiful plan. Thank you Mom today and everyday for loving me in your own special way!

Dearest Deni, A lovely tribute to your mother and all mothers. :) I had some trouble with the punctuation on several lines that ended with a period that I didn't think was necessary since the following line was continuous. Other than that, a simple poem neatly written... and a very happy Mother's Day to you as well! :) Hugs, Ash

Hi Deni, If your mother caould read this...and maybe she can...she would see how lovely it is. It could easily be a Hallmark card given by any child. Your words are soft and full of expression. Well done. Best wishes, cheyenne

Deni I know your mother has to feel goooood about those words! I can only give you credit for your 'right to poets' or poetic license I guess its called. It doesnt matter if things are 'uneven' when you are talking to mom! I like this and wish I could give it to my mom too :) ~smile smile smile~ Ellen
