Proved Once Again

I entered the hall  scanning for a place to sit The usual tables and metal folding chairs I spied a few open with padded seats and moved towards one with some satisfaction Upon sitting I realised it was bent and slanted and not quite  the comfort I had supposed Proving once again  that soft and cushy is not always the smart choice

Aha! Good imagery. Simple and straightforward. I like the ending. For what its worth? It's great. Everyone will relate to this, Smiles, Ellen

Kenneth, I have learned, [always the hard way] that the easiest/cushiest choice is not the happiest way. Some times a rock hard seat is more appreciated. Your poem can mean many things. A wrong partner, wrong judgment, wrong chair. I like the seat example. Dellena

Very good Ken, What looks good at first sight, sometimes holds unseen flaws until we try it on for size, peace & blessings, Deni
